Aruhan Galieva


Aruhan Galieva is a British-Kazakhstani Multi-Disciplinary Artist and Intersectional Environmentalist. She is an Ambassador for the Bats Conservation Trust... or as she likes to call it 'Ambatsador'.
She is currently based in London.
She is a 2022 Winner of the Luke Rollason Memorial Bursary Award for emerging Alternative Comedians. She was also Offie Nominated for her critically acclaimed role as 'comic foil' Lauren in the UK Revival of Kinky Boots.
In 2021, she won the Watering Seeds Bursary Award for BAME Buddhist Activists working on peaceful climate action projects.
She was also accepted onto the British Council and Lyric Organix 2021 'Active Citizen Seed Pod'. A Global Leadership programme for under-represented voices to incubate Climate Action projects as artists and activists.
As an Actor, feature credits include: Doctor Who, Black Mirror, BAFTA Award Winning Glasgow Girls, Shakespeare's Globe and RSC. She is represented by Will Hollinshead at Independent Talent.
As a Vocal Soloist, feature credits include: Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall (NY), Midem Festival (Cannes), Tokyo City Opera Hall and headlining Royal Festival Hall.
As a Writer, she has written for C4's/Mother's Best Child hit online satirical sketch show 'THE B@IT' and with her writing partner Christina Riggs, credits include: S2 of Hat Trick Production's Audio Sketch Show 'Seance Cast ', S2 of C4's/Mother's Best Child 'Nasty Neighbours ' and sketches for Pulped (Online Web Series).
